What do I need for the course?

Don't worry - you don't need any expensive equipment. To get started with 3D modeling and printing, all you need are a few simple essentials.

A computer mouse is highly recommended.

For the course, you will need a free account for an online 3D modeling application (runs directly in your web browser) as well as a free 3D printing software application that you can install on your computer

Getting started with 3D printing is easier than you might think. Don't be intimidated by technical terms—we'll start from the very beginning together.

No prior experience required

No special IT skills or previous experience with 3D modeling are required.

  • Yes. You can rent a 3D printer from us for a refundable security deposit and a rental fee. You can find more information here.

We have enough 3D printers to produce in various sizes, materials, and even in large quantities. Of course, much depends on your idea, its feasibility, and whether you can create the digital models yourself or need to hire someone to do so. In any case, we would be happy to advise you.

Can I borrow 3D printers from the RealMakerAcademy?

We can lend you a 3D printer in exchange for a deposit and a fee. You can find more information about this here.
