We offer two beginner courses to choose from.
You can either attend a 3-hour introductory course for beginners or go directly to the 6-hour 3D printing course.
If you are unsure, we recommend attending the introductory course first and taking the 6-hour 3D printing course at a later time.
3D printing for Beginners - Introductory Course

● advanced fundamentals of 3D modeling with Tinkercad and additional tools
● you will design your own, more complex object and then print it in 3D

The course takes place at Usedomer Str. 4, 13355 Berlin. Our classroom is located on the 4th floor.
What do I need for the course?
● Ideally, you should have a laptop. A tablet is also possible.● A computer mouse is very helpful.● For the course, you will need a free account for an online 3D-modeling software (browser-based) as well as free-to-install 3D-printing software.● Once you have purchased a ticket, we will send you all the necessary information.● No prior knowledge of 3D modeling or special IT skills is required.● You do NOT need a 3D printer.● No prior knowledge of 3D modeling or special IT skills is required.
In which language is the course offered?
We can easily offer the course in German or English. Other languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Ukrainian, or Hungarian may also be possible upon request with sufficient advance notice.
Do you also provide purchasing recommendations for 3D printers, materials, and auxiliary tools?
Yes, we can advise you directly after the course or, if necessary, during the course as well.
Can I book a private course for myself and/or my friends?
Yes, that is possible.
Can I come to the RealMakerAcademy with my idea and have it produced there?
In principle, yes. We have enough 3D printers to produce in various sizes, materials, and even in large quantities. Of course, much depends on your idea, its feasibility, and whether you can create the digital models yourself or need to hire someone to do so. In any case, we would be happy to advise you.
Can I borrow 3D printers from the RealMakerAcademy?
We can lend you a 3D printer in exchange for a deposit and a fee. You can find more information about this here.
I represent a school in Berlin. Can you offer courses for students or teachers?
Yes, that is possible. Contact us, and we will tailor the courses to your needs and, if necessary, to your facilities as well.
