This 3D printing course provides a comprehensive introduction to additive manufacturing (3D printing). You will learn the entire process – from 3D modeling and preparing models for printing (known as slicing) to the actual 3D printing itself.
You will create and print several of your own models.
In addition, you will gain an overview of different types of plastics and the materials used in 3D printing. You will learn how to operate 3D printers, avoid and solve common problems, and apply best practices for reliable, high-quality printing results.

A laptop or tablet with average performance is sufficient. Many 3D modeling programs run in the browser and require very little computing power.
Access to a 3D printer
A very good 3D printer costs €190. To get started, it is often enough to have a friend with a 3D printer or to use a makerspace.

3 to 6 hours are more than enough to get started with 3D printing. We are happy to support you with that.
